This Privacy Policy clarifies the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as "Data") within our online offering and the related websites, features and content, as well as external online presence, e.g. our Social Media Profile (collectively referred to as the "Online Offering"). As a result, personal data collected via this website is processed within the European Union, making the processing activities subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Although this website is directed exclusively to customers located in the United States, certain operational activities (e.g. such as customer service, CRM, and marketing) are carried out by our European partner, Time for Nature GmbH (Austria). Therefore, these processing activities are subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and are based on the following legal grounds: 1) Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – Processing necessary for the performance of a contract or related customer inquiries (e.g., handling returns, order support). 2) Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – Processing based on our legitimate interests in maintaining efficient customer service, operational management, and marketing communication.

 

 

Data Transfers: Personal data processed by the European operation (Time for Nature GmbH, Austria) may be transferred to the United States for the purpose of order processing, fulfillment, and shipping to customers. Conversely, personal data originating from the United States may be transferred to Austria for administrative or operational purposes (e.g., accounting, customer support, or marketing). All such international transfers between the European Union and the United States are safeguarded by the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) in accordance with Article 46 of the GDPR, ensuring an adequate level of data protection.

We rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) or, where applicable, on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to ensure an adequate level of data protection for transfers to the United States. All international data transfers are conducted in compliance with Article 46 of the GDPR, ensuring that personal data remains protected regardless of the processing location.
